Cajun Kid’s Area

The 2008 Cajun/Creole Music Festival expands the Cajun Kid’s area
with new, exciting entertainment and exhibitions that are guaranteed to please attendees of all ages.

Kid’s Talent Show
This new venue will showcase local talent! Tryouts have been held for kids 17 & under, and the most entertaining will be performing a variety of acts certain to delight attendees. The audience will be the judges, so make sure you bring your family and friends to cheer and vote for your favorite performer!

Exhibitions
The Simi Valley Police Department K-9 Unit is back to do awesome
demonstrations of their crime-solving skills. These award-winning canines are highly trained to assist Police Officers in catching the “bad guys.”

New exhibitions this year include cooking demonstrations from the Young Chefs Academy and spirited competitions from the Puma Karate Studio.

Back by popular demand, is the Crazy California Clown, doing magic tricks and making animal balloons for the kids. Also performing for your entertainment, are members of the Cali Gymnastics and Dance troup.

The Arts and Crafts Center is ready for kids to let their creative imagination soar! Make a Mardi Gras mask, paint a picture or create something unique. The kids love this venue!

The Cajun Kids area has officially become a part of the Simi Valley Cajun/Creole Music Festival. It’s family entertainment at its finest!
